If you can’t attend a Soul Level Animal Communication® session live on Zoom because of time differences or if English is not your first language and you prefer a recording, you may buy an audio recorded reading.
Whilst this doesn’t give you the opportunity to question your pet as we go if something isn’t clear, it is a good option if you can’t make it live, and your pet will make sure you get the information you want – they really do know what’s going on!
In this session we won’t do a body mapping but the rest of the reading will be the same, without your interaction of course. You’ll get a description of your pet’s character and what THEY want you to know about YOU for the purposes of the reading. There are then 4 questions to determine what lesson your pet is working on with you at the moment. After that you have either 1 question (for the standard reading) or 3-5 questions (for the premium reading).
You will receive a link to the Zoom audio recording from which you can listen to the recording. Zoom allows you to download the audio file (note the video file will be there will but Kate won’t be on camera) if you follow the link from a desktop or laptop, but you won’t have that option when you access the link from a mobile phone (this is enforced by Zoom, not Kate!).
A shorter reading is a great for learning what is going on with your pet, and one additional question, but if you want more questions Kate also offers a longer session.
We always recommend a Soul Level session when you have any questions for your pet because often your concerns are wrapped up in a soul lesson. Thereafter if you just have more questions there is also a shorter 20 min follow-up readings available for 3-5 questions (no soul lesson).
Be aware that the direction, and the content, of the reading is really governed by your pet, Kate is simply a messenger.
What happens during the reading?
During a reading, Kate will connect to you, the owner, psychically, to get a feel for you and your personality. Your presence in the connection deepens the connection with the animal, because this reading is all about your relationship with your animal. She will then bring the animal into the connection. Kate will interact with the animal to get a feel for their personality. She will then ask the animal what you need to know about YOU for the purposes of the reading. Kate will then move onto the soul level, where, through a series of 4 questions, she will find out what your animal is working on with you. After that she will answer your questions: she may rephrase a question to get the best results.
What information can I expect from a reading?
The information Kate receives may be visual, auditory or sensual. It may be symbolic – the animal will either use things that mean something to Kate, in which case she will describe it in terms of “this is what it represents to me”, or have some symbolic meaning for you. Kate’s job is not to interpret, in doing so the message may be altered. Kate will describe what she gets in terms of “I see, I feel, I hear” and the interpretation is up to you – this is your message.
The animal will only share what they want to share with you, you cannot force them to tell you things, nor can you force them to change their behaviour! Animals have their own thoughts and feelings, and at the soul level they have an agenda of what to teach us. What is wonderful though, is that by simply learning their point of view and listening to them, things will often change.
If an animal does not want to talk about something specific, Kate will ask again, but if they still will not share, she will move on, and you can perhaps try another time. They each have their own very particular personalities and we can’t force them to do things they do not want to do, and there may be very good reasons why they will not address an issue at a particular time.
How do I ask my questions?
After you have paid for your reading you will get a notification (by email) with instructions of how to send your questions.
Why 3-5, is it 3 or 5 for the premium reading?
Kate will ask at least 3 questions but if there is time she will ask an additional 2 questions if provided (premium reading is up to 45 mins).
How will I receive an email reading?
You will receive a link to the Zoom recording (and audio) and if you’ve requested the transcription, and email transcription also. Please download the audio/video immediately – it will be deleted after 30 days and cannot be recovered.
When will Kate do my reading?
Kate endeavours to do a reading within 7 days of payment unless she is on holiday or the business is closed.
Does I need to prepare my pet?
No, your animal doesn’t need to be doing anything special for the reading; they don’t even need to be awake! So it doesn’t matter when Kate does the reading.
Does Kate need a photo?
No, Kate has been trained to connect with the animal based on their name. Note that they may show themselves as something completely different to what they are – that doesn’t mean that Kate is not connected to themThere may be reasons for it (for example they may look like an animal Kate knows in order to show a likeness in character), in which case Kate will explain this. She cannot “mis-dial” and get the wrong animal, even if it’s another pet of yours!
What kind of question can I ask?
You can ask your pet anything! It’s best to ask an open ended question (rather than a yes/no question). For example “how does Spot feel about the cat?” is better than “does Spot like the cat?” It’s also best not to make assumptions about what they think or feel, for example, “why does Spot hate the postman” may confuse Spot if he doesn’t hate the postman, but actually doesn’t like the van. Instead we would ask “how does Spot feel about the postman?”
Kate will rephrase it if necessary to get the most out of your question!
Do you do readings with animals that are no longer living?
Yes, Kate can read animals that have passed on.
Do you help find missing animals?
This is a tricky one. Helping someone with a missing pet can be a hugely emotional ordeal for all involved and Kate is still working on her own emotional boundaries and doesn’t yet feel ready. There are a few animal communicators that specialise in lost animals. Please consult Danielle Mackinnon’s Certified Animal Communicator Directory and look for someone who mentioned they are happy to work with missing animals. If you are stuck, Kate can try to put you in touch with someone who will help.
Can I ask for a friend/my daughter/my husband?
No. The reading is about your relationship with your animal. You cannot ask about someone else’s relationship. You can encourage them to do a reading themselves but remember that this is not for everyone. It’s very hard for people who know the value of this to appreciate that not everyone believes in this wonderful thing that we believe in, but, however tempting, it’s not something you can force onto other people! Do not buy someone a gift reading unless you are really sure they will appreciate it or it could be a very awkward session for both of us!
Can I ask about someone else’s animal, or wild animal?
You can only ask about your relationship with an animal, which may be inappropriate if they have an owner. If you suspect an animal is mis-treated or abused for example, you cannot ask about their relationship with their owner. You can connect to wild animals, however Kate’s not really very experienced with this: wild animals vibrate at a higher level and Kate isn’t really confident doing this yet for other people as she can’t guarantee success! If you want to ask for fun, as part of another reading, she’s happy to give it a try as long as you understand she may not be able to connect!
What if I have more questions?
There isn’t any time for chit chat during a reading as Kate wants to dedicate the time to speaking to your animal, so if you have further questions please send Kate an email through the contact page.
How much information do I need to share?
Please do not send much information in your questions – it’s much easier for Kate if she doesn’t have a picture in her head of what YOU think is going on. Stick to the bare facts of what behaviour you have OBSERVED. E.g. “Fluffy cowers and shakes when we walk to the end of the path” rather than “Fluffy is terrified of the tree at the end of the path” where you have assumed it is fear and you have assumed it is the tree!
You may describe a situation if it is necessary to understand the background – please keep it brief and factual. If Kate requires more information she will get back in touch before the reading.
How long is the reading?
The length depends on the animal and how quickly they get through the questions which depends how much they want to share. A standard reading is anything up to 30 mins, the premium is up to 45 mins.
